Outside The Classroom

One of my favorite things to do is spend time with my sons Nicholas & Marrik! Being a mom is my most treasured role. My kids are 10 years apart so whenever we can spend time together is great. We have 2 pups named Riley and Roxy both 10 years old. I love gardening, cooking, being out in nature, kayaking, and hiking. Along with saving some time to share meals with my friends. Whenever I'm not on call, I try and get to the mountains to recenter myself, and get out of the city for some grounding. Although birthwork takes the bulk of my time, I'm so passionate that most times it doesn't feel like work. During downtime, I love to read and blend herbs to use as medicine at home and for my clients postpartum.
